With the project RESISTRUMENTS – Breaking the Silence, we open eyes, ears, and hearts to the experiences of children and young people in Ukraine.
The music video and short documentary emerged from an ARTHELPS workshop in Kyiv, created in collaboration with Jung von Matt. They tell powerful stories through extraordinary instruments: a violin made from a missile warhead, a cello built from rocket parts, and a guitar crafted from a fuel can once used to refuel Russian tanks.
At the heart of the project is the belief that creative spaces matter. By creating opportunities for children and young people to process their experiences through music and art, the initiative helps them heal, express themselves, and discover new talents.
