As part of the UNHIDE project by the humanitarian organization ARTHELPS in Amman, Jordan, a creative experiment was brought to life under the artistic direction of Thomas Lupo: children and adults from different backgrounds meet spontaneously in front of a transparent canvas and draw portraits of one another.
The result is the film Make Hope Visible Again – a powerful reflection on creativity, connection, and self-expression.
Musician and ARTHELPS ambassador Rea Garvey accompanies the film with a voice-over, addressing a common belief many people carry: “I’m not creative” or “That’s something for children.” The film presents UNHIDE as a space that challenges these assumptions – encouraging people to rediscover their creativity and break free from limiting stereotypes.
