Wunschkind

Wunschkind tells the story of Max, a young man with Down syndrome whose optimism and joy for life inspire everyone around him.

What began as a small idea by Max’s mother – to create a short film for World Down Syndrome Day – grew into a heartfelt documentary project.

In 2021, the film premiered as a short documentary during a live broadcast by ERF (Evangelischer Rundfunk), sharing Max’s story with a wide audience and celebrating a powerful message about acceptance, perspective, and the value of every life.
